Copper and Copper-Nickel alloys combine excellent thermal and electrical conductivity with strong resistance to seawater corrosion and biofouling. Pure coppers (C10100, C10200, C11000, C12200) are used where conductivity is paramount, while Cu-Ni 90/10 and 70/30 are the industry standard for condenser tubing and desalination systems.
